We now provide Safety Critical Medicals directly from our Manchester Head Office clinic, delivered in partnership with a Physician-led, SEQOHS-accredited occupational health provider.
These assessments determine whether an individual is fit to safely perform duties in a safety-critical role, helping employers meet health and safety requirements across industries such as construction, utilities, and manufacturing.
What does a Safety Critical Medical include?
Each Safety Critical Medical is a comprehensive, face-to-face assessment that includes:
- Review of medical history and psychological wellbeing
- Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure and pulse check
- Vision checks: distance, peripheral and colour
- Urinalysis
- Audiometry
- General mobility assessment
All results are issued in an official certificate, reviewed and approved by a Consultant Occupational Physician, through a Physician-led, SEQOHS-accredited organisation.
Safety Critical Medical with a Point of Care Drug & Alcohol Test
This option includes all elements of the Safety Critical Medical, plus a urine Point of Care drug and breath alcohol test.
Please note: additional charges may apply for any laboratory drug confirmation testing if required.
